Dwight Howard has signed with the Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets?and Los Angeles Lakers all at the same time.
Can Twitter really keep up with Howard and predict where he'll land? Recent speculation on Howard is that he's leaving Los Angeles and finding a home somewhere in Texas.
So what?
Haven't you already heard this before? The Dwight Howard saga continues, and Twitter has spiraled out of control. From shopping for homes in Houston to a variety of "stay" campaigns in Los Angeles, here's what Twitter has to say.
#StayD12 "Dwight, please don't leave Los Angeles! We love you here."
After further review, the Howard jersey at the Beverly Hills Hotel appears to be fake. Eric Pincus, a senior writer for Hoopsworld, let the community know that the photo from the Lakers' Twitter account was just a figment of their imagination.
#StrayD12 "Dwight Howard is in Houston looking at houses."
Meanwhile, thanks to Howard's Instagram account, he was at UCLA playing knockout during the time of the rumor. Unfortunately, the "realtor" from Houston deleted his tweet after he either made it up or realized he was wrong.
#Dwight2Dallas "Dwight Howard really likes the Mavericks. Dirk talked to him. Cuban will get it done."
Don't know if this bodes well for Mavericks fans, but Deron Williams also liked Dallas last year. Specifically, he enjoyed playing at the American Airlines Center. Now that Howard has said he likes the Mavericks, don't look too much into this.
Twitter is a very fun place to?divulge speculation. You always need to exercise caution when coming across a rumor.?Be it true or not, here's a look at the rest of the Twitter induced rumors.
Brandon Jennings is a player that has?intrigued?that Mavericks for quite awhile. However, there are no reports that confirm a Jennings-Howard arrival in the Big D.
During mid-June, Chris Paul was reportedly texting with Howard on pairing up. Now, at the end of June, no evidence indicates the pairing of the two in Atlanta.
Dwight Howard can't sign until July 1st. Hopefully Mavericks fans don't take too much offense to this tweet.
A dream scenario for Clippers fans, but Howard hasn't been traded. This tweet is clearly false.?
The last time the Nets were looking to trade for Howard was in January. Approaching July, the Nets have made moves for other players.
It would be nice if the Heat got a center. But, this tweet has no credibility.
Unless Danny Ainge has a trick to bring in players now, the Celtics are in rebuilding mode. Teams are currently in trade talks for Rajon Rondo.
