USC FOOTBALL: Trojans land two commitments for Class of 2014

USC added two more commitments when highly regarded safety Max Redfield of Mission Viejo and Class of 2014 offensive tackle Casey Tucker of Chandler, Ariz., selected the Trojans.

Redfield is ranked the fourth-best safety in the nation and 37 th-best player in the nation by Rivals.com.

"USC stood out from the rest of the universities I looked at," Redfield said.

Tucker (6-foot-5, 270 pounds) was also offered scholarships by Notre Dame, Michigan and Nebraska. He is USC's third commitment for 2014, joining fellow offensive linemen Jordan Poland of La Jolla and Toa Lobendahn of Lakewood.
